Jill works for the Anoka-Hennepin School District, the largest public school district in Minnesota. Jill and her technology staff of 11 assist the school techs in overseeing approximately 15,000 computers in 40 schools and 10 remote locations in 13 metro cities.

Twelve years ago Charlye bought her first computer and although clueless about it, believed it worked too slowly. She found out she could upgrade it and became interested in how she could do that, and then decided she could build one herself.

Pursuing an IT career was not an easy or quick process for Nancy Lee. Perhaps this is why one of her favorite quotes is from Calvin Coolidge: “Patience and determination alone are omnipotent.”

No matter what your political leaning, having the chance, as an IT student, to work on the technology to support the Republican National Convention (RNC) was a life-altering experience. Joy Das, Inver Hills Community College IT student knows that first hand.
